Sign in with your own identity provider
Add Active Directory (LDAP) and SAML single sign-on, so users authenticate through the directory you already run and access follows your own policies automatically.
Why it matters
One more login is one more thing to manage
Out of the box, SimpleRisk keeps its own list of users, which means another set of credentials to create, maintain, and remember to disable the day someone leaves.
For any organization with a real identity system, that is duplicated work and a standing security gap, an account that outlives the person it belonged to.
What it does
Use the identity system you already trust
The Custom Authentication Extra connects SimpleRisk to Active Directory and SAML single sign-on, so access is granted, mapped, and revoked through the directory you already run.
- AD and SAML/SSO. Authenticate against Active Directory or any SAML identity provider.
- Automatic provisioning. Users are created and mapped to the right teams and roles on first sign-in.
- Access that follows your policies. When someone leaves your directory, they lose SimpleRisk access too.
