SimpleRisk Core
The SimpleRisk 20260226-001 release is a general update that includes new functionality, bug fixes, and reporting enhancements. If you run into trouble upgrading, please contact support@simplerisk.com so we may assist you with any issues you encounter.
This release introduces the following new functionality and bug fixes:
- Added a multi-select dropdown for Frameworks when exporting controls, allowing users to select specific frameworks for export.
- Updated Governance > Document Exceptions to display the Exception ID for each exception.
- Added the appropriate color indicator to the Residual Risk column.
- Modified the behavior after adding a new questionnaire under Assessments > Questionnaires to return users to the full questionnaire list.
- Restored the Test Result field to the table on the Active Audits page.
- Enhanced the Graphical Risk Analysis report by making the top section collapsible, allowing users to hide report details after generating the chart.
- This release also addresses the following bugs:
- Fixed an issue where Assessment auto-save refreshed the entire page; auto-save now occurs without a full page reload.
- Resolved an issue preventing new project creation on the Plan Projects page.
- Corrected incorrect time displays in comment sections.
- Fixed an error on Reporting > Graphical Risk Analysis where selecting Status = Open caused report generation to fail.
- Resolved an issue where the auto-initiate test cron repeatedly created initiated audits, even when already initiated.
- Updated the Dynamic Risk Report to include the status and result of the previous risk review within the Review field group.
- Updated the domain used to retrieve CVE information.
- Fixed an issue where a deleted custom field column continued to appear on the Review Regularly page if it had been previously saved in column configuration settings.
- Corrected the Closed Risks by Date report so that sorting by Date Closed uses the actual date value rather than a string representation.
- Fixed WYSIWYG fields to properly preserve formatting on View Risk pages.
- Fixed an issue on Compliance > Active Audit > View Test where a modal dialog appeared at the top of the page when submitting a test result marked as Fail.
- Updated large editor styling to remove rounded edges for consistency with other field elements.
