SimpleRisk 20260909-001 — Data Integrity Scan Accuracy Fix

This release fixes a false-positive issue in the Data Integrity scan introduced with its recent launch.

What's fixed

Data Integrity scan no longer flags valid text as corrupted. The scan's text-encoding check was comparing a field's value against an overly strict baseline, so ordinary leading/trailing whitespace or a trailing newline could be flagged as "corrupted text" even though nothing was actually wrong. The check now only flags genuine encoding problems — invalid UTF-8 or a stray control character — matching the feature's original intent.

Resolved issues now clear themselves automatically. If you already have open Data Integrity issues from this false-positive behavior, the next scan will automatically confirm and close any that are no longer actually broken (or whose record no longer exists) — no manual cleanup needed.

Upgrading

The upgrade is delivered through the standard SimpleRisk upgrade flow. As always, we recommend backing up your database before applying any release in production.
