SimpleRisk 20260917-001 — Plan Projects and Review Risk, Rebuilt

SimpleRisk 20260917-001 is a project-management-focused release, headlined by two major page redesigns that bring a faster, more consolidated workflow to planning and reviewing risk work — alongside a batch of bug fixes across assessments, questionnaires, and AI-assisted context questions.

Plan Projects, rebuilt as a priority table

The Plan Projects page is now a searchable, sortable priority table designed for teams juggling many projects at once. Each project can expand to show its full list of planned risks with mitigation dates, so you don't have to click into every project to see what's coming due. A new Unassigned risks queue makes it easy to spot risks that haven't been attached to a project yet and assign them — one at a time or in bulk. Completed projects now show a summary of the risks they closed, and every project's actions are available regardless of its status, not just while it's Active.

One Review Risk queue instead of three separate pages

Plan Mitigations, Perform Reviews, and Review Risks Regularly have been merged into a single Review Risk queue. Columns are drag-to-reorder, common actions can be applied in bulk, and a new insights band surfaces the state of your risk review workload at a glance — no more switching between three pages to get the full picture.

Select more than one page at a time

Bulk actions across six of SimpleRisk's data grids now support a "Select All N" option, so you're no longer limited to whatever fits on the current page. Select everything that matches your filter and apply an action in one step.

Smaller improvements

This release also fixes a run of smaller but meaningful issues: assessment attachments are no longer deleted when a draft or completed assessment is saved, the Required setting on multi-select questionnaire questions is properly enforced at submission, and the Questionnaire Questions table keeps its template filter after a question is deleted. Vulnerability scan results now link correctly to their asset across all supported scanner platforms. On the AI Context Questions page, multi-select answers now persist after a reload, and the Country/Region field reliably shows its full list of options. A risk's Mitigation tab now correctly shows its list of mapped controls, and the Mapped Control Frameworks counts on Define Control Frameworks and the Mitigation tab now accurately reflect a control's full set of framework mappings. We've also hardened how risk owner, team, and reviewer names are rendered on the Review Risk grid, and fixed an out-of-memory condition that could affect the database upgrade step on installations with a large sessions table. The Control Pass Rate KPI on the Home and Compliance dashboards also loads significantly faster.
