Senior DevSecOps Engineer

The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will work with SimpleRisk's cloud-based infrastructure in order to ensure that all systems are operating efficiently and effectively.  They will be responsible both for maintaining existing infrastructure, as well as deploying new infrastructure to support new processes and pipelines.  They will also be responsible for the security of the systems which they are provisioning and should have knowledge in areas such as Amazon Web Services, Application and Network Security, Infrastructure-as-Code and Development Pipelines and Automation.  

 Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in a role utilizing concepts such as Infrastructure-as-Code and Automation
  • 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Foundational knowledge of application and network security

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Amazon Web Services including CloudFormation, VPC, Security Groups, EC2, RDS, and ELB
  • Infrastructure-as-Code using Chef as an orchestration and automation platform
  • Building and maintaining Docker containers
  • Container orchestration with Kubernetes
  • Apache web servers
  • MySQL and/or MariaDB databases
  • Development with the PHP programming language
  • Linux System Administration

Senior Sales Engineer

The Senior Sales Engineer works as part of the Sales and Marketing teams to provide expert support in understanding customer problems and formulating solutions.  They will be responsible for taking calls with customer prospects to provide technical product demonstrations and sound advice on Governance, Risk Management and Compliance.  They will work alongside our Support Team to ensure that prospects are receiving prompt responses to their questions or issues, and that new customers are onboarded quickly and efficiently.  They will help to expand SimpleRisk's support knowledge base and provide support for other SimpleRisk team members through mentoring, marketing participation and other thought leadership activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience as a Senior Security Engineer
  • Experience with Governance, Risk Management and Compliance platforms
  • Experience with Incident Management platforms
  • Solid understanding of enterprise Governance, Risk Management and Compliance concepts
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Extensive prior experience in a comparable position in the software security industry
  • A real world expert background which includes delivery of GRC programs at major enterprises
  • Certifications which may be applicable: CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM
  • Involvement in industry forums and initiatives and a network of contacts within these communities would be a plus
  • Evidence of thought leadership: written papers, speaking engagements and other public facing examples
  • Strong strategic commercial awareness and a track record of top level technical sales/pre-sales performance would be beneficial
  • Ability to educate others on GRC and Incident Management best practices

Director of Digital Marketing

As the Director of Digital Marketing at SimpleRisk, you will be at the helm of our digital strategy, driving the growth and visibility of our brand in the online space. You will lead our digital marketing efforts, shaping innovative campaigns and initiatives to captivate our target audience and propel our business objectives forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Craft and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with overarching business goals. Leverage market insights, consumer trends, and data analytics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the conceptualization, planning, and implementation of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, SEO, SEM, display advertising, and content marketing.
  • Brand Building: Drive brand awareness, equity, and consistency across all digital touchpoints. Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure a unified brand identity and messaging across digital platforms.
  • Website Management: Collaborate with web development teams to enhance the user experience, optimize website performance, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance metrics and KPIs to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives. Implement A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and other strategies to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, product development, and creative, to align digital marketing initiatives with broader business strategies and initiatives.
  • Technology Integration: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, platforms, and tools in the digital marketing landscape. Identify and evaluate opportunities for implementing new technologies to enhance marketing capabilities and efficiency.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum impact and ROI.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in digital marketing, with a track record of driving successful digital campaigns and initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, platforms, and best practices, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and analytics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to leverage insights to inform strategic decision-making and campaign optimization.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
